Hi. Just getting into MDrummer. I am fairly new to programming drums etc and I have to say, MDrummer seems the most intuitive approach for me, especially as a non drummer! I love it so far. I'm transcribing some drum charts in to get used to things before using the midi commands to play it back through Reaper. All going well surprisingly bar volume levels. I think I need to try and dumb down MDrummers brain a little as I just want it to play the parts and not add any flair or volume nuance really. When I try to adjust the level in the playback section of the editor (e.g. make them all 70%) the settings do not take and as soon as I click off the part, it resets to defaults. Is there a really simple trick I am missing? Or is the MDrummer brain too clever for me and I will have to export midi and play via a channel 10 track?
Grateful for any advice. Cheers.

The 'level' is not a volume control. It relates to which keyboard loopbox is playing.
Load the default MDrummer preset.
See the BEAT loopboxes...12 keyboard keys.
Click on each white key going from the C up to the B. See how the complexity of the loop gradually increases. That's the 'level' increasing.

Ah, thank you so much. Really appreciate that. It's a steep learning curve but I can see I have been a bit dense there
