Got a helpful reply from Christian. I hadn't used AriesVerb for quite some time as I was put off using it due to it's GUI. But I have been using it over the last few days and, even though I am still not too sure about what a lot of the parameters actually do, I am getting some great effects from it which I cant really get from my other plugins. So I think I will stick with it for now, read the manual and experiment.
