the good thing about bitwig is - you can pause updating it - just hold on with an update code in your pocket ;-) (saving you a bit $$$) and activate when you see more of what you think you'll use..
Ableton updates infrequently ...and its first covid christmas so ...they'll need $$$ boost...there we go 11...but ..hey....next year...;)...
do they do 30% off updates/upgrade?

You can drag and drop. https://youtu.be/WoFvxWOkEpw?t=165
I dont see him drag and drop midi or audio...
He does. Take a second look.

Even if you don't see it I can tell you that it does work. You can drag straight from the browser to a take lane (midi and audio).

There is now dozens videos of Live 11 on YT showing just about every feature in detail, and you definitely can drag and drop anything (audio or midi) to a comp lane and start comping- so very useful even if you don't record live guitar or vocals etc.

I have watched a couple of this videos now (just did a 40 minute one!) and it is a very impressive update. Well done Ableton, this will be a smash hit.

Ok I watched it on my phone the first time and the video started at the beginning where he record his voice on many lanes ...and then started talking about linked track... I didn't wanted to watch a 40 minutes videos just to get my answer. But yeah on my computer the video point directly on the answer. thanx

You can, just 'add take lane' manually (you can see that in a video).

Hmm, a bit late ...

Automatic cross fading as well (can be turned on/off)
It's very similar to Studio One comping (which is a good thing in my opinion) fast and simple

Look at 9 to 10 update, that was laughable comparing to 11 :hihi:

Ahhh, MPE at last, exactly what I was hoping for in Live 11, comping more than one track looks pretty cool too, I'm in! Now my only problem is deciding whether to get a Hydrasynth or Roli....

I have an Osmose due soon (I was a pre-order) so this timing is great.

Does anyone know if they’ve improved performance?
That’s why I had to leave Live. It has terrible cpu performance in large compared to Reaper, Logic or Cubase.

What are you on guys...

New features are awesome, already waiting for release!
