If my old Apple Mac dies and I need to transfer my Meldaproductions software to a new Mac, how do I do this? Should I be keeping a copy of my license file on an external hard disk? Thanks for your help!

Just install on the new hardware and activate with the license file. Keep a backup of your key in a safe place.

If you have presets to transfer, it is a bit more complicated. Do you?

If you are using time-machine to backup your mac then you can restore from there. You can get your license file/s anytime from the Melda web site. Your actual solution will depend on your current situation...hth.../s~

I backupped all the license files on an external hard drive and all I had to do is to install all the bought Melda plugins and CreativeFX bundle on my new computer and to drag and drop the license files (with the mouse) over the plugins GUIs and they were activated.

My only problem is that I still don't have any account at Melda Production because there wasn't any needed in 2012 and 2013. :(

I think you should sort this out with support, as an account may come in handy.

That's true, I'll write an email to Melda Production in the following weeks!
