Hi, i'm enjoying working with audio in MuLab, I like it's timestretching. Generally I find good use for layering drum breaks. The video about layering got me inspired about how flexible it is.

My workflow generally is to import a audio file as 'audio sequence', and layer other samples below it.

I was curious how other people sliced their audio?

I really like the audio sequencing thing, it's like surgery to the waveform, very precise. Normally don't have any working method, just threw a sample and start the cutting, sometimes i use various samples filling all the 16 lanes.

also, it can apply a filter per each chunk if you want it.

Thanks, for the tip about using a filter for a lane/chunck, can you explain perhaps a bit more? This is kinda crucial for layering, especially for kicks etc.

Nice video, and I do agree, MuLab and its audio sequencing abilities are the best and most fun i've used compared to other DAWS.
