Hi
I'm having an issue with a buzz sound that appears on playback. It only happens in Waveform. I can record audio fine and when I play the actual wav files produced directly off the drive (in Audacity for instance) there's no issue.
Any time I play an audio file in Waveform even the sample ones it plays fine for a split second then a persistent low buzzing plays. If I go to settings while audio is playing and move the "Internal buffer Multiplier" bar back and forth the buzzing stops on every change but starts again a split second later.
Any ideas?

OK of course after hours of investigation I fixed it right after posting this. The MIDI out and in were swapped on my audio interface and it seems it was clicking every time MIDI message was sent/received (is that just what happens when they're swapped?) I guess Waveform persistently sends MIDI messages while it plays back? So that's what was buzzing.
Funny thing is none of the MIDI devices the MIDI in and out were plugged into were turned on. So I'm still scratching my head there but whatever.
