Searching for an ancient plugin... V Bass?

Trying to find a plugin from years ago... it was part of a suite of plugins, and I think it was called V Bass - it was a compressor of sorts. Does this ring any bells to anyone?

I'm looking for this too, does anyone remember it? I just need to find out what it did, I may be able to make something similar. It did something like compress harmonics? Or so it said, I imagine it's a multi band compressor.

Would this be it? The name is close, it includes a compressor and qualifies on the "years ago" criterion:

I'm not sure whether it was ever part of a suite, but several of the ViperITB plugins -- collected at Plugins4Free -- have a similar look and feel.

No that isn't it, but that's a very good guess considering the vague info to go on.
I remember the GUI being slightly bigger and more dark.

Wasn't VBass one of the first VSTs?

This was the VB-1 )probably not what you're looking for)

AHA that was the first thing that popped in my head but I could not remember the name of it, only that GUI. I believe that was introduced when, or shortly after, that first VST synth Neon was included in Cubase (VST24 I think?)osiris wrote: Wed Dec 13, 2023 9:25 pm Wasn't VBass one of the first VSTs?

I still use neon, it's utterly sick. Might just be me but you can get a nice bright sound out of it.

For a second shot in the dark, this post right here at KVR suggests Pluggotic made a VST called VBass once:

The bad news is, it was described as "classic" at the time, the post is nearly 14 years old and the link is long, long dead. But it could be a thread to tug at.
