I have recently discovered the Chord Companion. it will be a useful tool for me, I really like it and it gives me something to do with my Trigger Finger device.
i want to be able to record the data that passes through the plug in, so that I can edit it further. I understand that all I have to do is place an input module on a new track, from the "Midi Tracks" menu and tell Waveform which MIDI track I want to record from.
All well and good, This is also shown in one of Bill's videos too. Bill uses 4OSC placed after the Chord Companion to hear what is going on. When recording to another track, this synth plays as the other track is recording the MIDI data, just as it is supposed to.
My problem is, if you place another synth there, it doesn't work. I tried Collective and the 106 Retromod synth, when you try this with those there is no input signal on the recording track.

Wrap the plugin in a Rack and route the MIDI to and around it.

Surely there must be consensus by now...
