I've noticed that when I switch between sampler presets, if I have audio running in the background (YouTube) I hear like a burst of static or the audio freeze whist the presets are changing.
Is that normal?

Seems to also happen when audio is playing back and you add a VST or change Sampler presets.
Also noticed that changing Reaktor presets is a lot slower that normal.

What OS and what audio mode (i.e. Direct Sound, ASIO, Windows Audio)?
I wouldn't expect one app taking too long in the audio callback to affect other apps.
