Receiving MIDI messages from custom software

I'm trying to use the following scenario:

*) macOS 10.15 with IAC Driver Bus 1 enabled
*) Mulab 8 (ver 8.6.26, licensed) with 2 or more racks, each rack with a synth loaded and a different MIDI channel
*) Mulab input from IAC Driver Bus 1
*) my custom program (in Python) sending MIDI messages to IAC Driver Bus using the different MIDI channels concurrently

I achieved to have one synth inside a Mulab rack playing the notes for Python, but not more than
one due to keyboard focus choosing a rack.

Is there a way to have multiple racks getting MIDI input and playing concurrently?

Turn off the option for MIDI input following focus. Use the channel to target mapper.
