Hi guys I am a complete newbie and have no idea what I am doing apart from how to record and export vocal tracks.

My producer has requested I record my vocal takes in mono 48hz/24bits.

I have worked out how to change to 48hz on the settings window. How do I do the rest though? When i export I see a box with Stereo, would I leave that unticked? And as for 24bits, how do I know what I am recording in already?

Thanking you in advance for any guidance you can give me.

For mono vs. stereo when recording, in the Audio Devices page of the Settings tab, select one of the two inputs in the pair and enable the "Treat as Stereo Channel Pair" option to treat them as one stereo input, or disable that setting to treat them as two separate mono inputs - here I have "In 1" and "In 2" set up for mono recording, while "In 3+4" is a set of two inputs that are set up for stereo recording:

When you select an input for the track in a project, with the properties panel at the bottom of the screen expanded, select the input itself on the track header, and you can select the bit depth from the properties panel:
