MVintageRotary Slow/Fast synch

Hi there
I am currently evaluating a good rotary vst for using it live on MacOsx 10.15 with mainstage 3.5. Besides the usual suspects I also have tested MVintageRotary and find it the best of all 5 candidates. The only things that keep my from buying it is the following:
1. Version 14.14 does not get validated by MainStage yet, so I have to use Version 14.13 (which is a workaround for now).
2. I assign a MIDI Switch/Controller (CC81 for instance) in toggle mode to MVintageRotary->Slow/Fast. While working most of the time, every ~6-10 times the plugin does not react and speed stays fast when I turn the switch off or vice versa. Pressing the switch 2 more times wil get it back in synch for the next ~6-10 times. Unfortunately this is not usable for live performances.
MVIntageAudio ist the only one amongst 5 Rotary Plugins that does this, all others work perfect, so it is not MainStage or MacOsx to blame.
Does someone have a remedy (for #2 at least) ? Would be sad if I have to skip the best sounding candidate 'cause of this.
Thanks for any help.

I just tested 14.14 on Mainstage 3.5, MacOS 10.15.7 and it works fine.
about assign, I tried to assign the slow/fast to my sustain pedal and really is misses some inputs. I mapped a o/off controller on the screen to the pedal and it works 100% of the times, so it's probably some melda issue.
I don't use MVintageRotary anymore, but when I used I did the slow/fast toggle ona knob. Mayb a continuous controller (one that sends 0-127) works better in this case? I would suggest you try a knob or a slider.

Thx for your reply. When assigning an on screen toggle button it misses about every 5th/6th input. With a continuos controller (modwheel for instance) it is every 20th or so. Still, being on stage I need more reliability.

Does this help?
As well as the usual MIDI controller mappings in the MIDI Settings / Controllers, there are also 3 (for Mod Wheel and Sustain) in the "Show advanced settings" window.
Turn those three off, then try this:

Thanks a lot, DarkStar, your hint brought me to a workaround that solved the issue!
The key is to not assign a control to the VST parameter directly (such as "MVintageRotary-Slow/Fast") but rather send a MIDI CC msg to the Channel Strip where the plugin resides. When mapping the CC-Nbr to Slow/Fast as DarkStar described, everything works perfect with no misses.
Only caveat is that MainStage does not send MIDI Messages to Insert effects in a Channel Strip (which took me a while to figure out). So the workaround is to 1) route the output of the organ to a patch bus 2) add another channel strip with MVintageRotary as VST Instrument (not effect) and 3) Sidechain its input to the patch bus and 4) send MIDI CC Msg to the newly created Channel strip.
Quite a hack and it would be prettier if the SlowFast-Parameter would work as all the other "competitors" do. So I consider this a bug in Meldas VST related to "interrupt handling concurrencies". The misses are quite fewer if the plugin is switched off whereas 1 out of 5-7 when turned on (and the CPU load is higher).

Ok, so I'm afraid I'm not a MainStage user, so I'm quite confused here - could you tell me more about the "hack" you did? What you did before, which didn't work and what does work? And what exactly is the controller? Ideally contact me directly via info@meldaproduction.com

Forgot to add - there was a temporarily glitch after the release causing the validation errors in 14.14. It has been replaced within hours, so please just redownload and reinstall.
