Here is another sound design idea using the additive module in MSF. I tried to show a few other things you can do with this, but of course you can use the basic idea and create something totally new and interesting with it. I hope you find this useful.

I'm gonna have to give this a try when I get some time.
I've been looking for a new salsa piano sound that's not necessarily realistic sounding , ultra-dry, has a good bite, is easy to clean up, and doesn't have the kind of jumps that even some of the better sample libraries have due to the velocity layers.
That search started with sample libraries, but has been leading me toward some synthetic patches anyway, so I may even try starting the process with one of the synthetics as the model.
