SoundFactory - Sampler module problem/question

Hi guys,
I'm trying to figure out if this is a bug or just user error. I've loaded a mono .wav sample into the sampler and want to duplicate it's region, pan one left and one right, then modulate each of the regions samples start points differently to create some stereo width.
I've used the copy/paste function but for some weird reason the Sampler module refuses to play the two regions simultaneously.
Is there a toggle or parameter that I'm missing somewhere? Isn't it capable of playing layered regions?
As of writing this post I've got the latest MXXX and thus latest SoundFactory version installed.
EDIT: I know a workaround is to simply copy/paste the whole module itself but I'd rather keep it clean and everything sampler based within the one module.

That's by design. As I understand it, regions can overlap, but only the "first" region that contains the note pitch and velocity is played. Vojtech was thinking about multi-region playing, but maybe that has slipped down the to-do list.

Ok.. was afraid of that. Oh well, I'll just load up multiple sampler modules then. Really hope we can layer as many samples as we want within one Sampler module in the future. Would make it much easier to create epic large sample based synth sounds.

Indeed
Or even Crossfades (unless that has been done since I last looked)

I'm afraid not planned, the sampler is always playing a single sample. There are some points for the future, where it will handle switching between samples with intersampling for simulating monophonic wind instruments etc.

Just wanted to say that if there would be possible with layered samples in the sampler I would be very, very happy and Msoundfactory would be my dream come true!
Please, please, please!

I wonder - why don't you simply use multiple samplers? That's the point of the modular architecture after all.
