Just like it says on the tin. I am building an IR for my mandolin and while I can use the MFreeformEqualizer plugin itself to make the terrible magnetic pickup sound remarkably close to a microphone, when I click the "IR" button on the bottom right, it just outputs an uncolored IR. I've tested this in several IR and convolution loaders to confirm that it's not an issue with a specific loader. Every tutorial I can find on this process is using an older version of the plugin, so I didn't know if there was a setting that I missed or what was going on.
I'm using the trial right now and would love to buy the plugin, but I need to know that it will work for this purpose as I have several instruments I want to create IR's for. Thanks!
MFreeformEqualizer IR's are just flat EQ - please help!

That's odd, please contact me via info@meldaproduction.com if you didn't do that already, send me the settings and tell me how exactly did you do that. Make sure you are using the newest version of course.
