I have only experienced two among 14 plugins I have completely crashing my system. As soon as I try to select a sound with either Sampletank2LE or the new free Soniksynth2FREE my computer locks up completely leaving me one option. To hit the reset button. Anyone else experience this?

Yes I am. Should that be turned off?

Post

Yeah, try turning it off.

Some VSTs can get in a nasty locked up kind of state when that is active.

Never personally notived it making a crap of difference to performance anyway.

yes I was getting this tonight. I get some weird stuff with Crystal but the new sonic synth took the cake tonight. Instant lock whenever I tried to change the patch. Any solutions?

That appears to have done it. Wonder why it was only the IK/SS plugs.

Thanks valley. Drink up, you deserve it.

Strange doesn't lock with realtime priority disabled it just seems to garble the buffer. Nothing I can't solve within T and even better that it doesn't crash altogether. Thanks for the heads up everyone.
