Hi,
I'm demoing Tracktion and love it's feature set but most of all it's ease of use. One thing I can't figure out though is how to change the panning or volume on a track; something like the "enveloppe" function in Vegas or Acid, where you set points on the track for volume/panning change to occur. I hope what I'm asking is clear enough as English is not my primary language.
Thank you.
Track pan/volume change

OK, this is gonna be garbled, because it's late and I'm a little drunk, so right now English is barely my first language:
If you look at the track you want to set the level envelope on, there will be a little 'A' symbol, in the top right hand corner of that track.
If you click (left or right I can't remember) on it, you get a list of VST paramaters that can be automated. One of these paramters will be the level of the pan/level control. Select it, and a blue line will appear.
Click on that line where you want to set a level change and move it.
You can have as many points on the line as you need.
BTW: a good trick is to add a second vol/pan control to the track, after the standard one. Use the first one to do your volume envelope, and the second can then be used to control the actual mix level.
I'll let someone else clear this up if I',m making no sense.

Thank you valley, got it working now. I think I'm gonna love that program, only an hour into it and I've got the beginning of a song already, something I couldn't do after a week of Cubase(yeach).

I'm still finding little features I wasn't aware of, but I only needed about an hour with the software before I felt up to making music with it..
