Waveform 11 Free Automation Not Working

Been awhile since I mixed. Ableton Box broke, so decided to try the Waveform 11 Free in the meantime. Having trouble automating any of the plugins. Using Zebralette, tried just simple doing a audio fade out at the end of the track using Zebralette on that track. Didn't work. So added Volume and pan plugin that's included with Waveform 11. See the automation track, double clicked to get boxes on it. Dragged the end square down, and it is not having any effect on the sound. Thought maybe it was sandboxing. Turned that off. Then reopened the project as it tells you. Tried render, and audio fade out which I'm calling fade out, decrease volume IS NOT WORKING. Grrrh, miss my Ableton mix pc. I hate to spend money to fix it, since I only mix for fun.

Is automation read turned off? The button at the top left of the transport controls will activate or deactivate automation. It should have a green background for automation read to be on. The keyboard shortcut is H. It's easy to turn it off and not notice.

Hi, just a thought and sorry for the OT:
If you go to a cinema, or a concert, just for fun, do you think it is ok to pay for the ticket?

The free version is so you can try it. One,the malfunction doesn't make me confident to buy the paid version. Secondly, posting on the Facebook group results in no answers by tech staff. Third, your comment is truely OT and, many, many, many, many times repeated. Thanks. And what i was talking about fixing is the pc. Right now, not important. Thanks for being completely not helpful. You must be a trip to live with.

So... does this mean that you ensured automation is being read by using the automation read button but it's still not working? I just made a quick edit with Zebralette in it. I can automate parameters within Zebralette and can also automate the volume of the volume plugin.

My spec are Windows 10 and Waveform PRO 11.2.18 (beta).
