Noob query - Installing VSTs in Linux Waveform Free

Hi, I have just installed Waveform Free on my Raspberry Pi 400, after reading great things about it. I want to try out VST instruments, but cannot get any to run.

I have tried lots of the most popular free Linux VSTs (e.g. Dexed, Noisemaker, Tyrell etc) in both 32-bit and 64-bit Linux flavours. They install fine, and show up in scans, so I think that I've got my directories right, but the scan always end with the same error message:

'Note that the following files appeared to be plugin files, but failed to load correctly'

I am sure that I'm making some obvious noob error, but I have no idea what it might be.

I would appreciate any help you can give.

Hi,

Are you trying to load x86_64 plugins on RPi ? It won't work.
You should get ARM builds of these plugins.
