i notice when i create a chord track , then delete it the programs. it's done that 4 tims in a row. i'm using the latest version of w11 pro on a mac with catalina 10.5 o.s.

Something seems to be missing from that sentence. I'm guessing you meant 'the program crashes.'

I created a new edit, added a Chord Track clip then deleted the clip. I did that a few times and nothing strange happened. I also tried showing and hiding the Chord Track a few times, in case that's what you meant by creating and deleting a Chord Track.

I realized that there are a few ways to remove a clip. I was selecting the clip and pressing DELETE. That works fine for me. So then I right-clicked the clip header and chose 'Cut'. The clip went away and there was a little message saying 'Invalid or empty script'. Then I right-clicked the clip header and chose 'Delete'. Waveform crashed. Going back into the edit, choosing 'Cut' also crashed Waveform.

I have the same bug. It doesn't matter how you delete the chord clip.
