This is an old bug which is still in the current version.
When a project is rendered to file, the mix can sometimes appear in the 'Rendered' folder or 'Exported' folder.
I never change the default, but often find my rendered files missing from the 'Exported' folder - they turn up in the 'Rendered' folder.

I remember this but I thought they fixed it (it was never in the update notes) and I haven't had it happen since. I guess it's still there, I wonder if there's a specific way to trigger it? I thought my renders were going to 'export' sometimes as well, but I can't recreate it.

I've seen rendered stuff in Exported, and exported stuff in Rendered.
I never change the defaults or direct to specific folders, so it's a mystery why these files end up in random places.
It's a dangerous bug, as deleting files from Exported can ruin your project if they ended up there instead of Rendered by this bug.
