MTurboReverb: Smart Seed Generator general questions about usage

I've watched the tuts and attempted to use the seed generator a few times, but either the tuts are glossing over some key details to get started, or I'm missing something.

I just told it to start, then went and had dinner, came back, and it's still going. I'd assume it just needs to finish, except the tested number is larger than the results. For instance, at the moment, it says it has 100,000 results for something like 190,000 tested. I've got several questions as I try to make sense of it.

1) I'm not seeing a way to tell it to stop, or any way to know how many it intends to test... or whether there is a point to testing more if they won't be included in the results. Do I just let it run? Do something else?

2) Do I understand correctly that it tests for each criteria, so it only needs to be run once per algo and that the results can then be re-sorted if I change the criteria without retesting the seeds?

3) If I am using the same algo on different channels with different slider settings, is there a way to port over the results to the next one without having to retest the seeds? I see that the SSD has a presets tab, so does that mean I can save the entire list along with all it's rankings, then paste it into the seed generator for another instance on another track that uses the same ago, and still be able to re-sort, etc?

4) What WOULD necessitate re-testing the seeds on a similar instance? Only a different algorithm, or are there slider settings like length, complexity, delay focus, etc that if they were different from one instnace to the next would require a new round of seed testing?

Hi,
1.) the button that starts the "evaluation-porcess" also stops it - just press it again when you have enough "seeds" in the list (I stop after 100 to 200), than choose your Goals in the "what to optimize" Area, than press calibrate.
If all seeds in the list than disapear - use the "threshold" slider until some do show up again - these will be solutions most likely to your "what to optimize" settings!
2.) Yes - thats seems to be the case
3.) No info on this one
4.) I'll guess (length=no), complecity - yes, and all changes in the "designer field" would change the IR-Result which is the core of the SSG (smart seed generator)

Ahh... super good to know. I didn't realize all those designer panel changes would affect it. It also hadn't occurred to me to use a smaller batch of seeds since they seem to have such an outsized impact on the sound.

At the very least, I guess, I can do small batches while designing an algorithm (which then renders the other questions I asked trivial), then run a large batch once I'm sure I've got my algo/designer panel tweaked the way I want.

If it's ranking them by criteria set, and there is a clear hierarchy (no two criteria have the same weighting), I would assume "calibrate" would find the mathematically "correct" answer as to how to rank them.

This doesn't seem to be the case, though. Every time I hit "calibrate", EVERYTHING changes. Every number in every seed is different. Is it re-ordering them? Why would it do that if they are already optimized? Clearly I'm misunderstanding something about what "calibrate" does. I'm not entirely sure whether it's doing anything I want. How do I just see the single most optimized ranking per my criteria?
