I am using Waveform using Midi Guitar 2 as a midi controller. I have it selected as a midi input, I select MReverb as a plugin. I send a signal through on my guitar but there is no response in Waveform. When I do the same in Garageband, I see a power switch icon that is not present in Waveform. When I select it, I am able to play through it.
I don't understand how one DAW can use a plugin but another can't.
Other vst's work fine (SpitFire Audio Labs)
MeldaProduction Plugins are working in Garageband but not in WaveForm Free 11.5.9

1. The power switch icon looks to be a part of the DAW, not the plugin.
2. It looks like you have an instrument on the Garageband track but no instrument on the Waveform track.
MIDI -> effect = no sound
MIDI -> instrument -> effect = sound

Surely there must be consensus by now...

Can't see clearly but is that an audio input on the track with the effect on in WF. If so it needs to be armed (click on the red blob on the arrowhead to make the arrowhead red to arm the track).
