Zebra Wavetable Recorder – is there a way to change the samplerate?

I like the WT recorder in Zebra but I quite often need 44.100 as sample rate. Zebra is giving out samples with 48.000. Is there a way to change this? I would love if the answer is "yes!". Thanks

It doesn't really have a samplerate, as it contains an array of waveform cycles which are 2048 samples long each. I think the 48k are in there just "pro forma", as in, there had to be something filled in there. You can probably change it with any audio editor.

Here's a screenshot of how to do it in ocenaudio, which is a free audio editor:
Go to Edit -> "Adjust Sample Rate..." and you can set the sample rate without resampling the .wav file at all.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Well, this sounds logicalUrs wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 12:48 pm It doesn't really have a samplerate, as it contains an array of waveform cycles which are 2048 samples long each. Yes, F0 is 21.827Hz (A=440Hz) and has approximately 2020 samples of cycle length at 44.1kHz sample rate. Pitch it down 24 cents to get almost exactly 2048 samples cycle length.

Very interesting. . Will this method also work to make compatible wave tables for Serum? On th opposite take will this also work if I sample my roland xp10 keyboard at F0 minus 24 cents to make a wavetabke for hive? How long must I hold the note in to get a good sample for wavetable processing? And must the sample be in mono or can I record the wavetable as a stereo wave file?

Sorry, yesterday was a bit chaotic.
I think I have to correct a thing or two, as I may have misunderstood what the question actually was.
When using Zebra's Wavetable Recorder, the result is completely independent of the oscillator pitch. One does not need to press F0 to record Zebra's Wavetables in perfect cycle length. They simply are in perfect cycle length no matter the pitch. The reason is, Zebra's internal wavetables are always 2048 samples long, and what you record are the generated progressions of those with oscillator effects etc. applied.
The F0 -24 cents note is ideal when sampling any other instrument at 44.1kHz in your DAW or sampler in order to get nearly perfect 2048 sample cycles for use in Hive, Serum, Vital whatsoever. Like, when sampling a hardware synthesizer to make wavetables.
And yes, wavetables generated with Zebra are compatible with Serum, you just have to tell Serum that it's a 2048 samples-per-cycle wavetable file.

And thanks for make a point how to achieve wavetables with hardware synths.
I hope ocenaudio will get a batch process at one point. Like to use most of the time but it miss two/three features for me...

Urs thank you very much for your input and advice here!Urs wrote: Wed Jun 02, 2021 12:42 pm Sorry, yesterday was a bit chaotic.
