I'm wondering if there's anyway to dig into the code so that the names made available by Zebra to Ableton's parameter bank mapping correspond to the XY pad custom names as opposed to the generic x1 x2 x3 etc which provide no information. I have the XY controls automapped as my default Zebra config in Ableton and I want to be able to see which controls I'm playing with without opening Zebra to the XY pad window. For example, as per the image, I would like the first item in Ableton's parameter bank to show up as X=Osc1 and the third to show up as X=OscMix instead of PCore: X1 or 3.
Ableton param bank in red and Zebra XY names circled in green.

While not inconceivable in general, it would require knowledge of their preset format, specifically the make-up of their "Instrument Rack" format. In Live's Instrument Rack it's possible to have custom named Macro knobs, but creating these manually for each preset is not realistic, as you can imagine.
So, interesting idea, but I'll admit I can't help.
