Hi,
we've released Analog Anthem for Hive -- A preset library featuring custom UHM wavetables.

📺Trailer Video
Anyway listen to the sounds first!

🗂Contents

#10 models, 26 wavetables
With the power of UHM, the characteristics of the analog oscillators are replicated as much as possible, within what a wavetable can do. (As to how much wavetables can contribute to "analog feel", please read the documentation found on the product page.)

・A unified wavetable that morphs through Tri-Saw-Pul
↪︎You can also enjoy intermediate waveforms with just 1 osc, some of which has very unique morphing.
・PWM dedicated wavetables, for better morph quality.
・Typical "hard sync" waveforms

#212 Presets
・Each preset mimics the structure of its original synth (number of OSCs, filter routings, similar Engine etc) to characterize the sound.
・All presets use custom wavetables explained above.
・All presets are tagged, mod wheel and Aftertouch assigned.

My first preset library purchase (not counting Dark Zebra)! And I'm fully satisfied :)

Great presets! Really enjoying the basses and leads. Bought mostly because of wavetables though, and these are fantastic! For sound design and UHM learning purposes. I've been planning to make some "analog" wavetables for Hive for a long time (by mimicking Diva's oscillators, because I don't own any original analog gear), but it took me forever to partially recreate in UHM just Triple Osc waveforms. So I'm really happy someone else did all the hard work :) Thank you!

Hehe, I actually got messed up many times while making waves morph correctly. Moving "sharktooth" wave horizontally was a nightmareʕʘ‿ʘʔ

CAn we use the wavetables in an other synth ? via a converter ?

The library already includes copies of all UHM wavetables in WAV format, so no need to convert anything. I tested them in Vital and they work just fine.

On the product "details" page I write about this and here is it:

".wav wavetables are compatible with some other synth like Vital, but in Serum you need to take “import” action for each wavetable to be loaded correctly. In the future update, Serum compatible wavetables *may* be added."

Other than Vital or Serum, the result is uncertain. I'm gonna serve some test wavetable to let users check compatibility by themselves.

If it works in Serum, it will also work in Surge and Kontakt, and likely some other wavetable synths too...

Picked up the set last night. Really nice group of wavetables and patches. Good use of $15. Thanks plugmon!

Purchased earlier this morning, it's a no-brainer. I've made a few wavetables based on analog waveforms and it's hard enough to get the correct shape, and another level to get them to morph correctly. Hive's interpolation is supreme but these sound fantastic in other synths too.

They load in Serum, Surge, Kontakt, Phase Plant, Dune, Europa, MSoundFactory, Pigments, Synthmaster One; anything that accepts Serum de facto 2048 sample 256 frame standard wavetables.

It's astounding what great sound designers can do. Love it.

plugmon,
Interesting. Were the UHM wavetables created from actual analog synths, or synth plugin emulations such as Diva, Repro, and maybe even ZebraHZ, or even non u-he synths?
You can hear my original music at this link: https://www.soundclick.com/artist/defau ... dID=224436

Mostly from actual analog synths.
That said, I own minilogue but not others. So I gathered recorded samples of each waveform, some are commercial package and others are free, or even YouTube videos like "Comparison : Behringer vs Original..." anything that can help getting information I used as reference.

As to the morphs, behaviors or what happens when 2 osc waveforms are mixed as one, I also refer to software emulations. some of the intermediate waves (between Tri&Saw, or Saw&Pul) are based only on softwares. This is described on "details" of the product page.
