I've noticed a pattern, and am wondering if anyone else is noticing this, too.
My settings open Waveform on the Projects tab, not the Welcome tab...probably like most of you.
Once in a while--like once a month, maybe--I'll launch 11.5.17 (Win 10) and it will open on the Welcome screen...for maybe a second or two, and then switch to the Projects tab.
EVERY time this happens, Waveform will not open my project. If I select my edit and open it (any project), I get a black screen with an endlessly spinning cursor. I have to force the application to quit. Then, it works perfectly again on the next launch. And it'll be fine for a month or so.
Not reporting this as a bug (more an annoyance), but this has been pretty consistent since 11.5. introduced the Welcome tab. Curious if anyone else is observing this, too.

I never get the welcome screen. Always the project screen. And no problems with opening edits.
