Any reason why tracktion wont let me use whatever outputs are defaulted through windows? I'm using an echo gina 24. I have to switch in the sounds and devices to outputs 3/4 to make 1/2 available in tracktion. Not a big deal but when i want to use things like itunes, watch movies, or use headphones i have to switch back to 1/2 kind of a pain. Seems like there should be a simple fix? dunno hope i was clear enough.

Same problem here with the Gina card.
My work around was:
Set the Windows sound to output 3/4.
Run Tracktion and set it to 1/2.
Close Tracktion and go back to Windows setup and set it back to 1/2.
Now both Windows and Tracktion will work on output 1/2. (thou not at the same time)
Also if you open Tracktion while Windows media Player is running you will loose the 1/2 output setting in Tracktion and you will have to repeat this again.

Hmm not sure ....
It works here.
I use the PURE WAVE drivers, maybe that is the difference. (download the latest drivers if you do not have that option)
