I'm trying to work out a way to manage "alternate guitar tunings" without actually changing the physical standard tuning on the guitars...Cheers!.../s~

If there is anyone trying to offer a solution, I'll go out on a limb and state its going to sound not so good. This is based on me owning top shelf pitch software and hardware. Even Melodyne Studio (which I own) doesn't sound that great (for changing chords, awesome otherwise) and its the gold standard (and not real time).... Just lug the gear and let your audience enjoy the eye candy of all of your guitars needed to do your set. Heck, I used to decorate the stage with a couple of extra guitars that I didn't even plan to use for the set....
