MStereoSpread: Are BANDS range and FOCUS behavior fixed, or depend on MIN FREQUENCY setting?

If MIN FREQUENCY is set to a higher value (say 2k), and I want a bunch of tight bands right above that from say 2k to 4k, does that mean I should drag FOCUS value all the way down because they start at the MIN FREQUENCY...

or...

... do the bands always stack from 20hz to 20khz, and focus all the way down always starts stacking them tightly on the lowest end (so near 20hz) regardless of MIN FREQUENCY setting meaning I'd just be bypassing all those bands in the above scenario since the effect is bypassed below MF?

Yes, I believe it all follows the Min frequency.
