I think I'm doing the steps correctly, but nothing is being saved in this preset!

- I created a new, empty preset
- I click on the Areas button, and select Edit from the bottom
- Using the arrows on top of the edit window, I make sure the new preset is selected
- I add new sections, and I see those sections reflected in the plugin
- I click on close when I'm done

Now, when I return back to that preset, none of those settings and definitions are saved and recalled! I have no clue what I'm doing wrong here. Appreciate any help.

I think I figured it out.. not exactly intuitive, but got it figured. All good.

Hey John, would you mind letting us know what was your solution was to help others who may have a similar issue or are new to Melda? :)

These were my steps:
- I first selected the EMPTY area preset so nothing is showing
- Then I selected the Areas button again and selected Edit from the list of options
- I then proceeded to define the areas. (when you do this, you see the areas reflected on the screen)
- Once you are done, this is the critical last step. Click on the Areas button again, and from the options, select ADD, which will take what you see on the screen and adds it to a preset. (name your preset).

I love the Areas feature in the Melda EQs. Super helpful, especially when starting out. Here's a good video from way back when. I remember he had some Presets at some point.
