Alright!

I found just the perfect sound for the song I'm working on in Repro 5. One of the first presets there, pad-ish sound.

(Please don't crucify me for the next few words I'm going to write. I am a pro musician/songwriter but a shitty synth programer)

I need a quick glide from the first chord (quite plain Gm7, voiced just F Bb D from bottom up) to the Abmaj7 (G Ab C Eb from the bottom up).

I tried changing the glide setting but it doesn't seem to work. Maybe it does on monophonic lines, not on chords.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

k

p.s. should I RTFM?

From the manual: GLIDE knob: This is only effective while UNISON is switched on. Glide (also known as Portamento) slurs the transitions between consecutive notes. At zero, the pitch jumps instantaneous, while values above 50 cause it to glide very slowly." I know there was discussion lately about a polyphonic glide. Doesn't sound like it will happen soon, if ever, the last time I looked at that thread.

I use Bitwig and I can play polyphonic portamento using my Linnstrument and MPE capable synths (which RePro is). I could also draw it in per note in the editor if I want really precise control of it.

Studio One added MPE support, but I think that came with v5. If so my suggestion wont work for you.
