I love how Urs always seems to look at the bigger picture. It's easier to maintain one version and hopefully the free updates will create more lifelong users... or something to that effect. f**king rock star attitude right there.

I think I’d probably use MFM more if it had a smaller/collapsed gui mode offering some reduced set of important and macro parameters. As it is I basically use it for one (glorious) tweaked preset. New gui looks spiffy though!

I'm a big dummy when it comes to delay times in ratios. I'm just so used to the delay time divisions in u-he synths that I end up scratching my head when tying to figure out what something like 1/4 dotted is ratio-wise. Am I alone here?

The Plugmon GUIs make this so much easier. They usually represent the delay as a fader then show you the note division above them. At least that's what AIKO does. Very helpful.Sound Author wrote: Sun Sep 19, 2021 8:54 pm I'm a big dummy when it comes to delay times in ratios. I surely hope so, on a forum related to music creation. It always puzzles me when people ask questions like "how many sixteenth notes make a whole bar in a 4-to-the-floor beat?". Isn't it super basic music theory?
How would you put "1/4 dotted" in textual information if you don't have note symbols at your disposal?
(Note:I don't want to write "the length of one and a half base drum occurrences", as this might not hold true in every composition.)
(would it help if our user guide linked to the corresponding Wikipedia entries? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dotted_note )
