From the UI they look identical, but the one in Bazille sounds way better?

It's literally the same code.
Bazille's HQ mode does not have any effect on the distortion module, it's purely about the modular engine of the synth voice.

Or maybe it's just that the oscillators and filters are different from Zebra. Not sure what it is, but Bazille sounds f**king amazing. This should keep me entertained until Zebra 3 comes out.
