Sampler II problem…

I just purchased the Sampler II module as it perfectly solved a problem for an upcoming live performance. Sampling live and play it back immediately with varispeed.
I set it up in Bitwig and all went smoothly, in the evening saved my project, but next morning Bitwig wouldn’t open the project with an obscure error message. (I reported the bug to Bitwig already I guess its their fault.)
But the reason why it failed was, that obviously VM stored the (pretty long) recorded audio of Sampler II as part of its setting.
I would assume in most cases that is expected behavior, but due to the size of the sample it could also create a problem. Clearly as soon I sort of delete/shorten the recording by hitting record twice within a short time, all will be saved fine.
I wonder if we could have a mode that automatically would not use the sample as part of the preset. There is still the option to export the sample if that is needed…
