MSuperlooper restarts loop as soon as I hit record

I have tried all the settings
Immediate Record and Immediate Play are turned off. I'm not synced to the DAW. I'm using it in Mainstage.

I record a loop and come out of record. Then later I want to add to the loop so I hit record again before the loop is about to start:. The plugin goes straight into record and restarts the loop. What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug which makes it unusable?

Pretty sure you'll need to hit play in your daw.
It requires forward motion to enable.
Try using loop end when free wheeling the loops. Otherwise it can't know how long your loop is.
