The RetroMods aren't synths. They're sampled.
Collective is a very good 4 operator FM synth, but Delta's Spacecraft is fantastic. I'd put those above WaveRazor.
Subtractive is also excellent.
Sadly, I have no experience with Hyperion, F'em, Abyss, or BioTek, so can't argue.

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

I did not experimented with spacecraft. Haven't tried Subtractive but it will be most likely what we already seen many times in Surge, vital, serum, synthmaster1.
I want something what is unique. Stuff like 350 EURO UVI Falcon https://www.uvi.net/falcon.html is the same concept as other synths, just enhanced with lot of LFO, Envelopes, VCO etc. I do not care if synth has 3 VCO or 16 VCO like in falcon, you can always layer sound in DAW.

Delta's Spacecraft is pretty confusing. Why it needs PLAY in DAW to make any sounds?

There is a setting for "run audio engine while stopped".
Settings - advanced - run audio engine while stopped. Not sure why you wouldn't want to do this by default anyway, but...

Hi,
I regard spacecraft not as a synth but a kind of soundshaper.
For me a synth is an instrument that will bring up some sound by itself, but you have to feed some external sounds to spacecraft to modify.
This can be done by playing the track containing some stuff.

1. Abyss. Unique sounding and focused
2. BioTek 2 Unique sounding and happy accident
3. Collective. Just a great value for people getting into the hobby
4. FM'd Great way of understanding FM synthesis
5. Waverazor Unique synthesis and VERY aggressive
6. Hyperion Early Release but I love the way you patch like VST Host Elements so I love that idea.
Rightnow Traction just has made unique and interesting sounding synths their thing and I hope people will give them support in $$$.

Bitwig is my DAWs and UHe and Tracktion Synths are my Bae. I maybe buy one synth a year. REMEMBER SELF just one synth a year!

Wow Hyperion and Abyss seem to be popular, I must give them a proper look. I love Waverazor and Biotek. Collective is very handy. I found f.em a bit glitchy when I tried an early version on Linux but it seems amazingly powerful. I suspect the bugs will be ironed out by now so it's worth another try.
