That video is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve seen. She’s got bad timing. Her facial expressions are cringe worthy and that leg flip was for nothing. She doesn’t have the chops to play.

And that Cajon will likely be just as loud as an acoustic one. They’re not terribly loud though when compared to other drums.

aside from the vcs modules justin posted, which will be beyond my meagre pocket, nothing yet has made me do the "oh my! where has this been all my life???"
some nice things for sure, but nothing "new" so far. (drum beam doesn't count as it doesn't exist yet)

Multi-timbral means you can have 2 or more different sounds at once, D12 doesn't do that.
HydraSynth Deluxe or Novation Summit do, but they're a fair bit more expensive.
Unless you just meant to say poly synth in which case there are loads of others.

If you did mean multi-timbral and it doesn’t need to be analogue then check out Waldorf Blofeld, long in the tooth but some great sounds and a decent arpeggiator.

I like that sequencer. It looks as easy as the Elektron stuff but with both per track and global transpose. Plus the saved scale per key… not quite sure how that works but should be useful.

Yeah my guess is it just means you set a custom scale using the 12 keys and assign that scale to one of the keys so you get 12 recallable memories. They also mentioned there are quantizers linked to the current scale that you can use with external cv so that’s potentially useful to effect a key change on the fly across multiple sound sources.

pretty sure it was somewhere in this one, final third or so if i remember correctly!
not exactly of course, others may not even hear it the same, but to me, it had moments of "eeeeeooooiiiiiiiioooooooorrrrrrr r r r r" type sound (that's what i imagine his scripts looked like)

I just discovered that if I have my bass plugged in and touch the round touchplates on Strega, the bass pickups will pick up the modulation signals. Kind of annoying if you're trying to play both in isolated channels, but also can be kind of cool and I made the best of it in the track I just recorded.

At this point I'm backing off from the Sofia, but Koszalin has more of my attention now. That one and Grainity are the two candidates to maybe replace something in my rack.
