Hi all,

We have worked - and anxiously waited - for this moment for more than two years. So we're super excited that it's finally available, on the day The Matrix Resurrections officially premieres:

This is a soundset for Hive 2.1 which (unlike The Dark Zebra) does not require a specially extended version of Hive.

Metaphorium for Hive 2 contains 220+ presets programmed in-house by u-he team members Howard, Viktor (TUC) and Urs himself. The soundset includes a wide variety of rhythms, chugging basses, melodic loops, atonal and tonal pads, dreamy soundscapes, dramatic and ambient effects. However, meticulous XY pad programming in Metaphorium makes many of the presets defy categorization: You can create radically different versions with ease, bending presets so they become suitable for any genre of music or film.

Speaking of which: We are very pleased with how well the sounds work in The Matrix Resurrections score! We are already looking forward to hearing how other film composers and music producers use Metaphorium.

Drag +Drop does not work on my Cubase 11pro on Windows 11...

A - Make sure you are using at least Hive 2.1 or newer. Older versions do not come with the soundset installer feature.

B - If you specified to run your host with admin privileges, dragging files from outside the host into the plugin cannot work. That's a Microsoft measure over which we have no influence. All apps need to run with the same permission level for drag & drop to work.

Thank you! Works!
B had been the solution! (also to drag and drop in general... :) )
Thanks for listening to my complaints ;)

And bought.

Which skin is this in the video?

It somewhat looks like the Original skin but pops more.

I thought it was just the default skin with a trick of color correction just to make it look a little more Matrix-y. There's definitely no skin in the pack.

That's correct. Colour graded to look a bit more "filmy". I don't think it would make sense as a skin though, it's a bit too cold I think.

Congrats and merry Xmas!

I liked it better than the current ones actually, but indeed it was just a fleeting glimpse.
The original one looks dark and gloomy to me, the izmo one, well I have said my say in that, and the gizmo that I use from fb, is a bit too colorful but...
Anyway..

Congrats! This is very cool!

So shouldn't you all get synth design/programmer credits? Perhaps there is a difference in the way in which you all were contracted for these patches? But even so, maybe there could at least be "uncredited synth programmer" credits on IMDb?

We (Viktor, Howard and myself) are mentioned in the end title of the movie as "synthesizer programmers".
