Plugins glitching or not working

Hi,
apologies if this topic has been dealt with but i've spent 2 days already searching for answers with no luck at all. Ive got a brand new laptop Dell Inspiron 8GB/256GB SSD Intel Core i3, windows 11
I've downloaded Waveform Free, also downloaded my first plugin: MT Power Drumkit this works fine and ive even laid down a drum track for my first time.
problems began when I tried to download more plugins, as I had a bit of a drum track I decided bass guitar should be next so I downloaded Ample Bass P Lite II, it appears in Waveform fine but when I add plugin to record a track it opens fine but when I try to play the bass only the high string (G) will play all the way up the neck, all other strings only play up to 4th fret and the plugin starts to glitch and the plugin screen splits up. I have also downloaded Blue Cats Free Amp when i open this in waveform i just get a blank plugin screen which i can do nothing with at all.

I also have a problem with my Audio Interface, I have the Behringer UMC-22, have registered and downloaded the drivers, but when I plug in and try to use with waveform, with the correct audio drivers selected there is no sound registering on the track and I am not hearing any playback through the interface.

Desperate to get my recording set up working properly, any help would be seriousley appreciated
