Long ago, I started a rent to own plan with Splice for Studio One.
I stopt it somewhere and newer used it again.
Now I bought a normal license for it, second hand.
After installing it and starting it, I got the message that my splice license isnt the actual on and that I should check my license in the Splice app.
I don´t have this app installed and I don´t knwo why I get this message.
My bought license shouldn´t be bound to the splice app and this rent to own plan.
Someone who had the same problem?

When you install S1 and want to authorize it it asks you which license you want to use. You probably chose the wrong one. Try again.classic wrote: Tue Jan 04, 2022 6:13 pm Long ago, I started a rent to own plan with Splice for Studio One.

Does it run at all? If it does, then go to Studio One / Studio One Activation and see what you can choose there.
I'm assuming Presonus transferred to you the license yoyu bought 2nd hand and you can see it in your account, right?

Hmm... Maybe you need to install S1 again? Perhaps the Splice version is somehow different from the "normal" one?
EDIT: Oh, sorry. You said you installed it. Then I've no idea, sorry

I think, the Presouns support is the only one who can really help you there...
They have to tell you how you can make Studio One asking for the activation on first startup...

Are you using a different Presonus account now? The following might be worth a shot anyway.

Otherwise you need to find a way to remove the old machine activation locally. If you have previously logged into any PreSonus software on your computer, you may be able to simply go to "Studio One" in the menu bar of the program and log out. You can then log back in with the correct account information.
