ModuLR? one question. (senderella)

I was trying to make a sort of a remote sidechain compressor in SE using senderellas.

A set of two plugs, one that sends a "peak" data and the other will be just a receiver plug wich takes that peak and invert it to control volume.

So you plug the sender to the Kick track and the receivers on those tracks that needs to be tamed when the kick sounds (mostly the bass) this constitutes a true sidechain compression system. (not just a compressor on the whole mix and a eQ based sidechain)

Such a plug could be very very very useful on a mix, currently I use the Fruity Peak controller and volume plugins with great results but when I'm outside FL, for exmple on Tracktion or Ableton Live, there's too little you can do to make such an effect.

Dunno if I can do it with RF, I guess yes, but in Ableton live is impossible and highly needed.

Now....the problem is, that senderella doesn't work at all when hooking up all on SE, dunno why really, but the extra soft layer seems to affect how senderella works. They simply doesnt communicate well, no crashes, sometimes the signal goes to the top volume on the receiver but still silent (I suspect the problem is only when receiving)

I have tried with other similar plugs (JSoundbus, Tobybear's) but they exhibit the same problem, or similar, for example using SoundBus sometimes works, but with too much noise and artifacts, and finally senderella outperforms these by stability and latency.

I will send this to Jeff McClintock too to see if he can help.

TIA

Correction: You can do it using senderellas and peak controllers made on SE separately, but I'm trying to make a solution using just two plugs, easy to hook up. (and with a good GUI)

unfortunately, I dunno if it's gonna work with what you have planned. There are so many factors that I couldn't possibly even guess why it doesn't work. I feel pretty confident that it's related to reading memory... things might not be in sync when that extra layer is added...

the problem is, I don't see a way to fix this on the senderella end... :(
