Collective: creating multilayer sound from library instruments

Hi ! I'm trying to deepen on Collective and I wonder if there is any way to use a regular sound (or instrument) from the library as the source of a new layer. I would like to stack 3 or 4 sounds on layers for big cinematic sounds but it looks like if every new layer has to be built from scratch. Is there any shortcut ??
