Modulation source that plays pitches?

Hi folks,

I'm messing around with the wonderful MComb plugin, and, because with high amounts of feedback you actually start hearing a certain pitch, i was wondering if it's actually possible to send it note values as modulation? So that on my midi keyboard i could actually play a tune with the feed-backed, comb-filtered pitch?

The MIDI button on pretty much all the plugins is where you need to look.
