Hosting AU : Choosing non system disk plugin locations ?

Any chance we can see the ability to load plugins from external drives too ? I ask because i keep so many on external drives ( of the ones that can be installed this way ) because SSD space is a premium . Thanks for this very useful and helpful app .

I feel you, but Indeed, this is a question to Apple, because its the specification of Audio Unit. You may find similar answers for Logic or other AU hosts too (in case if they are helpful info).
