Bug report (Slice into even parts)

Thanks for the free but really dope sampler plugin, I found there's a bug on my Mac version really annoying.

When I drop a long melodic sample into the wave pool, and toggle Slice/Beat then set slice number into 2, after I layout the slices, these slices would have problem playing back, the first one is ok, but the second one will still start at 0 and even plays half-tone higher than the original sample.

I checked the slice detail in wave pool, after I drop this sample, it automatically generates a "2" loop, which is not normal, and when I layout slice, instead of the right 2nd slice, this "2" loop will take over and get mapped to the second key on the keyboard.

Slice by transient and envelope are just fine.

I'm on MacBook Air 2014 with Big Sur 11.6.4, TX16Wx is on3.5.0u.


This is really weird and frustrating, hope it can be fixed.

I cannot reproduce this. Slicing a (melodical) sample into two + layout works quite as expected for me. Can you provide the sample, settings and exact steps to repro?

Ok, could repro with that wave. It has a big fat loop across the whole wave, which triggered a typo-level bug in layout. Fixed in new build.
