Hive 2.1, unwanted clicks on some settings (and turning on/off fx makes clicks)

Didn't notice this before but I get a lot of nasty clicks sometimes. It isn't an attack/release issue on the amp afaics. Voice mode doesn't matter. Oscillator doesn't matter.

Especially noticeable when doing this:
- Simple saw wave with Mod envelope on the filter.
- The Soft or Hard Clip with Mix to 50-100, Tone to 80-100 - but Amount to 0% (!).
- Boosting high frequencies a lot with Hive EQ and/or compress the signal inside Hive.

I've taken the settings to the extreme here just to show the problem. The clicks are still there when using more normal settings, but not as apparent until your compress or eq at mixing stage.

Also the clicks of turning the FX on/off inside Hive are boosted.

(btw, same thing happens if you boost high frequencies with external eq, or compress really hard, in your DAW after Hive)

Tried VST2/VST3. No external effects used. Cubase 11 and 12.

Any idea why this is happening and how to resolve it?

Hi cnt,

my "quick look" tells that the click results from fast release times and the sharp downward angle resulting from this. Turn up the release time of AMP2 and the click goes away.
All your FX settings are set up in a way that emphasize tiny high-frequency elements like these super fast release "edges", with EQ and Distortion Tone pushing up the highs drastically, turning them into these noticeable clicks.

Sorry, my bad... I was working with several patches at the same time and thought I was using AMP1... doh.

Btw, I get zipper noise while tweaking knobs, doesn't matter for the end result, but it's annoying. ;)

Which parameters specifically?
