Are AVX extensions mandatory to run Waveform12 ?

Native Linux Waveform pro 12.0.53 trial doesn't run on my AMD Phenom II X2 with Gentoo Linux and output: "illegal hardware instruction ./Waveform12" while the Windows executable has no such issue through WineHQ on my machine.

I am using a Q6600, launched one year before yours, no avx, in windows 10 64 and have no problems to run w12 in windows. Probably is something linux related.
