This is an odd little bug I'd encountered a few times since installing v15, but it wasn't until today that I've been able to identify the conditions and reproduce it every time. Here's the issue:

Conditions: Sync mode is on, default bars is set and I have all my other settings like this:

MSL settings.PNG

Action: Record an initial loop, and then clear the track. Initiate recording again.

Result: The new recording will always be 1 bar long, regardless of the number set on the default bars slider.

Here's a video of the bug in action (no audio on this example as it's not required and I wanted to get this down quickly):

Notes/workarounds: With the settings as I have them above, this only seems to affect the first loop (or what MSL calls the "main loop"). So, if you were to record a loop in track 1, another loop in track 2 and then clear track 2, then track 2 will maintain the original default bars setting. However, once the bug has occurred on the main loop, all subsequent loops on other tracks are also truncated to 1 bar (I believe this is because I have "Recording [starts/stops] at main loop" both engaged). The only way to get things back to normal once the bug has occurred is to use the "Reset all" button.

If you open up the FX & Settings panel on each track and give every track its own individual default bars setting, then the bug doesn't seem to occur (only tracks that take the default bars value from the main slider are affected).

In all honesty, this one isn't bothering me too much, as I'm just using the "Clear loop" function when I make a mistake. However, I can imagine scenarios in which someone might want to clear all the loops off their first track, which is when this would get quite annoying.
