Novation Launch Control XL buttons always Yellow when selected: need some help

Hello all,

I wrote a Midi Remote script for Cubase and the LCXL. The issue I am having is that the buttons along the bottom always light up Yellow when selected even when I send messages to have them light a different colour. I can get them to light up in the desired colour when not selected, or when they are not in toggle mode from Cubase, but whenever they are set to toggle from Cubase (set to momentary in the sysx) They always end up being Yellow.

I am thinking that it has something to do with the value coming back from Cubase being 127. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas of how to fix this I would be very grateful.
